    I bought this rod after owning cheap Shakespeare rods for over 20 years. They have always been great value rods and never had a problem with them. This one out of the packet, I set up a reel and line gave it a test and it snapped on the top section just above the butt joint. Emailed amazon and they reposted me a new one and sent free post details for returning the broken rod. It snapped in a perfect circle amd didnt splinter so I think it must’ve been a dodgy rod. Hopefully new knew will be okay. I will update the review hopefully with a more positive review

    Excellent rod came next day. Caught a lovely 7.3lb carp and coped no problem very sensitive but a brilliant through action for bigger fish.
    A must for all fishers

    Excellent little rod for the price I’ve hooked a few double figure fish with this rod on 8lb line its the best fun fishing I’ve had i tell ya
