For the money it does appear to be good value and I am looking forward to putting it through its paces, on a number of demanding fishing situations. If there is one area of concern, then it is the amount of play on the spool mounting spindle, seeing as it is a front adjusted drag system similar to the early fixed spool reels. This is where the Shimanos, Mitchel’s and ABU’s have historically shown higher standard of craftsmanship and thought, within this area of the reel. Something TF MAX Power reel would benefit from. My experience is based upon forty years of fishing.
