Q&A: how to fish for carp in a slow, dirty creek?

Question by Petey: how to fish for carp in a slow, dirty creek?
im going to a little party and its by a creek and a pond. i plan on fishing for some carp, bass and if im lucky some pike. whats the setup with corn for carp? do i use a dropshot sinker or a bobber? is there any other good bait that i can use that i can find at my home?

For carp…

Float, about 3 feet up from the end of the line, then a sinker 1.5 feet down from the float and a hook on the bottom. then put a few corn kernels on the hook and just throw it out.

the sinkers are for the creek, so the water doesn’t move it too much.
