Shakespeare Omni 60 Freespool Reel – Black

This reel has proved to be OK so far, time will tell. I am a bit concerned because I have a number of cheaper and much cheaper reels that look almost identical apart from the paint job and are made in the same place.Some of these reels have developed faults quite quickly after purchase, and others are unuseable, as the bale arm mechanism fails, and sometimes clutches are useless.
I hope I am wrong because these reels are fine in use, but I wish that when they include line on the spool they would indicate what it is and the breaking strain, I expect most people do what I do and throw it away, but a bit of info would at least encourage people to try it.Nowadays line thickness is no indication of line strength so it is important.
