bought this for my husband for xmas ,and hes already had a go on his carp rod.on a pond thats quiet and hard to fish ,came back and said as it doesnt make a noise it was perfect for that purpose.he intends to use it sea fishing very soon,he was well impressed with the simplicity of it

This is a great little device , its cheap but also very CLEVER , AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURE ITS A GREEN LIGHT , BUT WHEN YOU A FISH ON IT FLASH RED , WITHOUT ALL THAT BUZZING , PEACE ON THE BANK AGAIN , MANY THANKS . J

This little bite alarm is brilliant, its well made and very simple to use.
I was very sceptical about how well it would work but after using it for an overnighter last weekend I was very pleased.
I found it worked best for me about 1- 1 1/2 foot down the rod (at the thick end of quiver tip) when I’m feeder fishing.
I would recommend this to all my fishing friends.
